In June of 2022, I sat in my Nurse Practitioner’s office and heard the words, “You have Lupus.”
I remember asking, “What does that mean?”
Her response was simple and unsettling: “Some days you’ll be knocked on your butt. Let’s get you in with a rheumatologist.”
I went home and did what many people do—I googled it. Then I stopped.
I knew enough about the power of the mind to recognize that flooding myself with symptoms and worst-case scenarios would only create more fear. I didn’t want to spend my days hyper-focused on every ache or pain, or unconsciously giving the diagnosis more power than it deserved.
A few months later, my husband came with me to the rheumatologist appointment. It felt serious—like something we needed to face together. After questions, exams, and joint testing, the doctor looked at me and said, “You’re fine.”
Because I wasn’t showing signs yet. We were stunned. What now?
My ANA levels consistently tested positive.
I decided to seek clarity. I met with a new nurse practitioner and asked her to review my medical history and confirm the diagnosis.
After a careful evaluation and blood tests, she told me something that changed everything:
I had been misdiagnosed with lupus.
While I do live with Raynaud’s Syndrome, the lupus diagnosis that had been weighing on me for so long was not accurate.
That moment was both relieving and eye-opening.
It made me realize how many people are walking around carrying labels, fears, and stress in their bodies that deeply affect their nervous system and overall wellbeing.
That experience became part of what shaped the work I do today.
As a Master Transformational Healing Coach trained in NLP and a Master Hypnotherapist, I help women calm the stress–symptom cycle, reconnect with their bodies, and create a sense of safety and trust within themselves again.
My work is not about replacing medical care. It’s about addressing the stress, fear, and nervous system dysregulation that often accompanies chronic health challenges.
Because when the body feels safer, calmer, and supported, people often begin to experience something powerful:
Hope.
Today, my mission is to help women break free from the constant cycle of stress and flare-ups so they can restore their energy, confidence, and sense of control over their lives.
You deserve to feel safe in your body again.
That space—between nothing is wrong and something doesn’t feel right—is where so many women with autoimmune conditions live.
And that is exactly why I created Beyond the Flare: Reclaiming Your Energy, Identity & Calm.
This program was designed for women who are tired of pushing through, managing symptoms, or waiting for things to get worse before getting support. Inside Beyond the Flare, I guide you through nervous system regulation, NLP, guided meditation, and compassionate healing practices that help your body feel safe again—so it no longer has to stay in survival mode.
This isn’t about fixing yourself.
It’s about breaking the flare cycle, restoring trust in your body, and reconnecting with who you are beyond your diagnosis.
Healing begins when calm comes first—and you don’t have to do it alone.
